Hailey Fowler

A quadruple threat talent - Hailey is currently located in Vancouver on the stolen, unceded territories of the Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. She is grateful to work across the lower mainland as an arts educator in various disciplines with companies like Arts Umbrella and Place des Arts. She explores with imagination through play, curiousity, and finding joy through story-telling. As a 2nd generation Finnish Canadian, she is grateful to live, work, and play across the lower mainland teaching the next generation of performers. When not performing she can be found working in audience services at various venues on Granville Island. 

Growing up in Richmond, British Columbia, Hailey began pursuing acting at a young age. As a child with big feelings and love for expressing herself through song constantly, theatre became a safe place for self-expression. The first time Hailey thought about pursing a career as an actor was as a teenager training with Arts Umbrella's Pre-Professional Training program on Granville Island... that, as well as watching a performance of Idina Menzel singing "Defying Gravity". She pursued her BFA in Theatre (with a minor in Renaissance Literature) at the University of Victoria, graduating in 2019.

 Since completing her degree, Hailey has continued to expand her craft. This driven mindset has taken Hailey across the globe from training internationally in London, UK with The Globe Theatre or locally, such as completing the Arts Clubs Summer Musical Theatre Intensive. In 2020, she was chosen as a candidate to be apart of the Moving Voice Intensive in Toronto, but the pandemic had other plans in which the workshop was postponed. She believes it is important to be adaptive and flexible due to the nature of an industry that is forever growing and changing. She looks forward to building her network (in Vancouver and beyond) and always open to collaboration.
